Is KIM KARDASHIAN wearing a decoy ring? The reality star’s $2 million engagement ring, courtesy of her fiancé KRIS HUMPHRIES, has all the celebrity gossip websites ooh-ing and ah-ing, and ever since her engagement she hasn’t once been spotted without it. However, wearing it all the time could be a very stupid thing to do, especially with everyone in the entire world knowing how much it costs.
Kim must have realized the same thing, because she reportedly commissioned a perfect replica of her incredibly expensive engagement ring so that she could wear it out without fear of losing it, and everyone would be none the wiser. Whew. Guess she’s got some brains, then!
Though Kim wants to show off her ring (plus not wearing it would of course hurt her fiancé’s feelings), she isn’t dumb enough to flash it everywhere she goes and be targeted by extra-smart thieves. So, instead of leaving it at home and going out with a naked finger, Kim had an exact copy made which, according to sources, has a cubic zirconia instead of a diamond. However, we’re pretty sure this decoy ring isn’t cheap, either.
