Meet KRIS HUMPHRIES, he’s best known in the celebrity news for dating KIM KARDASHIAN although he does have a remarkable career as a NBA player.
Humphries was born on February 6, 1985 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Debra and William Humphries. Kris has two older sisters, Krystal and Kaela. His ethnicity: according to Hollywood gossip news, his father is black or partial black and his mother is white. Here is a photo of his parents.
Besides basketball, the extra-ordinary tall fellow standing at 6 feet 9, is an outstanding swimmer who competed nationally as a child and had only lost to the swimming great Michael Phelps. Humphries gave up swimming at 12 to pursue basketball.
He attended the University of Minnesota but was shortly drafted by the Utah Jazz in 2004 and at the time of writing, he’s with the New Jersey Nets. Kris has done really well over the past 7 years as a pro basketball player, according to the New York Post, he’s made 16 million in his NBA career. Of course that’s nothing comparing to Kim who according to Forbes has made 12 million just in 2010.
