Despite testing positive for alcohol, LINDSAY LOHAN is insisting that she was only drinking tea, not booze. Do we believe her?
Lindsay is claiming innocence in light of the failed alcohol test incident that was recently reported on celebrity gossip websites, telling people that she was only drinking kombucha tea—a fermented drink that just happens to have a teeny tiny bit of alcohol in it. The company that makes the drink, however, claims that the alcohol content in the tea is less than 0.5%.
But it doesn’t really matter anyway, because Lindsay got the OK from the judge, who ruled that she was allowed to drink alcohol as long as she refrained from throwing any more parties.
The actress tells TMZ:
“I am responsible, and I’m following the rules and obeying my judge and the Los Angeles judicial system… I’d like to do what I must to get my film career back and the respect of directors, actors, writers, studio heads, fans and so on.”
We sure hope so, Lindsay. You shouldn’t be wasting your life any more than you already have!
