Celebrity news learned that Spielberg, who is Jewish and had relatives who perished during Hitler’s maniacal cleansing of Germany during the Holocaust, was so incensed by Megan‘s comment, he told Michael Bay to fire her ass. Which Michael Bay did, albeit allowing Megan Fox to save face by telling the whole world she was in search of other opportunities.
But the truth came out, as it always does. Leaving Megan red in the face and pretending those other “opportunities” she sought out – photoshoots in her underwear, underperforming films like “Jennifer’s Body” and “Jonah Hex” were all her choices to begin with.
Maybe next time she’ll remember to stick to the script, and refrain from biting the hand that feeds her…

Typical Hollywood…Speilberg takes exception to a dumb starlet’s Hitler comment’s no doubt it offended his Jewishness. Speilberg is too dumb to realize he just pulled a Hitler himself. The square moustached one was famous for executing underlings for having independent thoughts. Speilberg is too stupid to even see the irony. I guess absolute power does corrupt absolutely. Megan Fox is, no doubt an idiot too, but her’s is an innocent transgression, she was too obtuse to realize someone might be offended. Speilberg is too big for his own good. Some one needs to tell him “Super 8″ was garbage. Recycled crap he did in the 80′s. Are things so bad that he had to regurgitate a derivative mashup of ET, Close Encounters et al for the next generation of teeny boppers? The critics who gave that 2 hour waste of time a thumbs up, must be afraid of being black balled.

yes i understand the fact that someone could get upset with the referral to hitler but lets keep it in perspective, it would have been a silly rant from a young naive actress who has too much beauty and too little experience in the ways of hollywood to know better (who knows when to keep their mouth shut at that age). sure she shouldnt have said it but if bay waswilling to let it go why couldnt speilberg be the bigger person and do also, if anything he could have just pulled her in for an apology to bay and thats that. as other commenters have stated, with great power comes great responsability, speilberg has turned into the thing he despises the most, a manical dictator.
