PIPPA MIDDLETON Biography
PIPPA MIDDLETON is an English socialite, party planner, and sister of KATE MIDDLETON (Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge). On 29 April 2011, she was the maid of honor at her sister’s Royal wedding to Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, second in the line of succession to Queen Elizabeth II.
The official announcement of her sister’s engagement came on 23 November 2010. After being widely expected, Pippa‘s appointment as maid of honor was confirmed on 14 February 2011. At the wedding, Middleton‘s white figure-hugging dress, which like the bride’s was created by Sarah Burton, was highly praised in the media. Made of ivory crape fabric, it was styled with a cowl at the front and silk-covered (called organza) buttons at the back. Many eyes were on her as much as the royal couple.
Since the royal wedding, Pippa has been the topic of much Hollywood gossip news, and the focus of paparazzi. Since her reported breakup with cricket star, Alex Loudon, she has been seen in June, 2011 with many places with former beau George Percy. He happens to be the son of the Duke of Northumberland, one of Britain’s richest men.
