“The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” is going on full throttle hard sell with ROONEY MARA (“Nightmare On Elm Street,” “The Social Network”) posing in a topless poster with co-star Daniel Craig. Apparently, Rooney will be doing some nudity on the film, as well, and the poster gives us a taste of things to come…
Based on the international best-selling novel by Stieg Larrson, which explores corporate corruption, Nazism, and sexual violence, the movie will also star Robin Wright and Stellan Skarsgard.
The previous three Swedish language film adaptations featured Swedish actress Noomi Rapace in a critically acclaimed performance as tattooed and pierced goth detective Lisbeth Salander. Will Rooney Mara and her topless self go the distance and do a better job in the English version? Does scarier looking count?
