Here’s the latest celebrity news on the most famous Jersey girl of them all: SNOOKI’s driver’s license will not be taken away once she comes back to the States, despite the fact that she rammed into a police car in Italy. Bad news for anyone who lives anywhere near the areas Snooki will be driving around in once she’s back!
Apparently, the fact that Snooki got into a vehicular accident in Italy—that she caused—has no bearing on her New York driver’s license. After speaking with someone from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, TMZ has learned that Snooki’s license is completely immune from penalties incurred on foreign soil. The NY DMV source says:
“Any accidents that occur in a foreign country do not affect a person’s driver license in New York State.”
So, despite the fact that Snooki crashed into a police car in Florence and was taken into custody, she will still be free to cruise around (and possibly hit more police cars) when she’s back in the U.S.
