TOM CRUISE is deadset on reclaiming his star…he rocks hair extensions, multiple tattoos, a bare muscled chest…and surprisingly enough, he looks impressive. For someone whose popularity took a steep nosedive after bouncing on Oprah’s couch for the love of Katie Holmes more than five years ago, it looks like Tom has borrowed the F-14 Tomcat Fighter plane from “Top Gun,” and is attempting a banking turn towards popularity via his new movie, “Rock of Ages.”
Hollywood celebrity websites took a good look at the photo above that Tom released via his Twitter account, and admitted he makes a hell of a rock star - a role he’s taken as Stacee Jaxx in the movie adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same name. We especially like the way his jeans cling to his muscled legs.
For someone approaching 50, Tom has one hell of a physique, rivalring even former “Top Gun” castmate Val Kilmer‘s bare-chested portrayal of the legendary Jim Morrison in “The Doors” 20 years ago.
Question is: can Tom sing?
“He can sing! It’s a miracle!”
“Rock of Ages” director Adam Shankman has been quoted as exclaiming.
Well, we certainly hope that miracle propels Tom back into A-list status, because we’d hate to have to listen to him rambling about Scientology and how it’s going to solve all his has-been-actor problems.
