Celebrity gossip websites are buzzing nonstop about one of TRACY MORGAN’s most shocking homophobic “jokes”—the actor brazenly “joked” that he would stab his son if he acted gay. This “joke” was only one among many of the anti-gay “jokes” Tracy made during a performance in Nashville last week.
Tracy was performing at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennesse when he decided to spew out a couple of extremely offensive homophobic slurs (we will now refuse to use the word “joke”), starting off with a particularly insensitive one:
“Gays need to quit being p**sies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying.”
He also said:
“Gay is something that kids learn from the media and programming.”
Since Tracy was on a roll in being absolutely unfunny, he decided to amp it up even more. The ’30 Rock’ star then announced what he would do if his son was gay and talked to him in a “gay voice”:
“I’ll pull out a knife and stab that little n**ger to death.”
And then, Tracy’s pièce de résistance:
“I don’t “f*cking care if I piss off some gays, because if they can take a f*cking d**k up their ass … they can take a f*cking joke.”
The Ryman Auditorium was quick to make amends and released the following statement right after the incident:
“The Ryman Auditorium regrets that people were offended by statements made by Tracy Morgan during his June 3 appearance.
The Ryman does not control the content presented by people appearing on its stage, nor does it endorse any of the views of, or statements made by, such persons.”
Well, we know Tracy’s got a mouth on him—a real nasty one, apparently.
