ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGER apparently had a change of heart and took back the “no spousal support” petition he initially asked the judge handling his divorce to award him. He also filed a document to reverse his refusal to pay estranged wife MARIA SHRIVER‘s legal fees, as well. Why the change of hard heart, Arnie?

Apparently, the former governator changed his mind about going hardball on Maria in the wake of their youngest son Christopher’s boogie boarding accident last week.
Maria, out of her head with worry, made the 911 call herself, and Christopher was found to have suffered a broken ribs and a collapsed lung, and all this on the very same day Arnie’s lawyer filed a petition with the court to snowboard the possibility of spousal support and denying Maria‘s claim to legal fees.
So its a smart move on Arnold‘s part, eh? Or whatever it is his publicist thinks is best for his soon-to-be-relaunched movie career.
But do you believe this will redeem the returning action star in the public’s eyes in any way?
