DANIEL CRAIG Biography
Daniel Craig is an English actor and film producer. His early film roles include Elizabeth, The Power of One, A Kid in King Arthur’s Court.. His first financially successful performances were in the movies: Layer Cake, Munich, and Road to Perdition.
Craig best known for being James Bond, he was cast as the sixth actor to portray fictional secret agent James Bond in the film series. He made sure that he was in great physical shape for the movie. He made his début as secret agent 007 in the 2006 film, Casino Royale. For his role in the film, he was critically acclaimed, and nominated for a BAFTA award.
In 2005, the bright blue-eyed Craig was contracted by EON Productions to portray James Bond. He stated that he “was aware of the challenges” of the James Bond movie, which he considers “a big machine” that “makes a lot of money”. He expressed that he wanted to put more “emotional depth” to the character of James Bond. Craig‘s reserved manner, and his avoidance of the Hollywood gossip makes him a suave “007″.
Craig married Rachel Weisz on 22 June 2011 after dating for several months. They had a private ceremony with only four guests in attendance, including Craig’s 18-year-old daughter Ella, and Weisz’s four-year-old son Henry.
