Gene popped the question in Belize recently, and the entire proposal was caught on camera for his reality show, ‘Gene Simmons Family Jewels.’ We don’t know what Shannon’s answer was, but we’re guessing it’s a big, fat “YES.” After all, she’s waited long enough, hasn’t she?
Gene and Shannon have been together for over two decades—they even have two kids together—but never married because the former face-painted rocker once famously swore that he would never, ever, EVER tie the knot.

I think what changed his mind is man cannot deny his basic need for love; to love and to be loved.
