“Harry Potter” author J.K. ROWLING was presented with a 40-diamond bracelet by Warner Bros. for allowing the studio the film rights to turn her best-selling books into…you guessed it…best-selling films.
Is it true that diamonds are a girl’s best friend?
If this is so, then Hollywood gossip news can’t fault J.K. Rowling for bringing a small army of wand-wielding wizards bodyguards with her to protect her new “best friends” during the after-party for the last “Harry Potter” film’s London premier.
The piece, set in white gold, reportedly cost millions of dollars, and Jo was understandably nervous about wearing the bracelet before having it insured, hence the mini-security team.
Still, what girl gets presented with a multi-million dollar 40-diamond white gold bracelet for writing some children’s books?
So, would-be authors, get-a-crackin’…you might just get some bling of your own one day…
