JUSTIN BIEBER has an important message to all his fans: Don’t text and drive!!! The teen singer has decided to use his celebrity status for good by encouraging everyone to refrain from texting while driving.
According to the latest celebrity news, Justin has partnered up with PhoneGuard Inc. to dissuade people from using their cellphones while they’re behind the wheel. The company recently developed a “Drive Safe” app that disables your phone’s keyboard functions if you are going faster than 10MPH, and Justin will be helping them promote it.
Justin says:
“We need to change the attitudes in our society toward texting and driving and I am making it one of my personal goals to make this happen.”
He adds:
“Every night we perform we have a banner that goes up that says ‘Don’t Text and Drive’ so it really means a lot to me.”
The ‘Never Say Never’ singer is also reportedly prepared to provide financial support to charities that are committed to his cause.
Good job, Justin! Texting and driving is definitely not safe—right, Maria Shriver?
