Not only does she inspire fashion, royal sis-in-law PIPPA MIDDLETON has people naming their kids after her now. So why doesn’t anyone want to name their daughters Kate?
Hollywood celebrity websites cited the U.S. baby name website Nameberry which ranked the name Philippa (Pippa‘s real name) at the top slot for the hottest baby name of 2011 after 23 million prospective parents chose it as their favorite.
That’s really saying something about the rise of Pippa Middleton‘s fame – the name “Philippa” barely made it to the top 400 in 2010 before anyone knew who Pippa was.
And while the Duchess of Cambridge’s Kate rose in popularity, too, it was nowhere near her sister’s standing at all.
Take a note, Prince Harry. People love your new sister-in-law, maybe you should start taking notice, too.
