Celebrity gossip websites confirm that newlyweds PRINCE WILLIAM and KATE MIDDLETON were heckled by protesters during their visit to Montreal, Canada last weekend. Not exactly the warm welcome they expected.
Obviously.
William and Kate are currently touring Canada as part of their North American tour, and although everyone seems to be brimming with excitement about this, apparently there was still a handful of people in Montreal who weren’t all that happy to see the newlywed couple.
Small crowds of anti-monarchists—supporters of a separatist French Quebec who resent the fact that Canada’s head of state is Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II—gathered outside the places visited by the couple and chanted:
“Go home parasites!” and “We will never bend!”
According to reports, William-Kate supporters greatly outnumbered the groups of hecklers, and fortunately there were no incidents of violence.

To put this in perspective Quebec is french speaking and has some seperatists that kep trying to seperate so english royalty is there least favourite. These numbers are dwindling which was shown by the seperatist party almost being wiped out in this springs election.
