Recent celebrity news tells us that SOULJA BOY has just bought himself a $55 million private jet in celebration of his 21st birthday—seriously. Apparently, the barely legal rapper has never heard of the word “recession.”
Soulja Boy bought himself a birthday present in the form of a luxurious G5 jet this week. TMZ has learned that the private jet itself only—yes, only—costs $35 million, but the total bill Soulja racked up amounted to $55 million due to the 20 million dollars worth of “enhancements” he added. The rapper reportedly gave the jet a custom paint job, a humongous (and extremely luxurious) bathroom, custom Italian leather seats, special travertine tile flooring, flat screen TVs, four liquor bars, Brazilian hardwood cabinet, and more. Now if only there was a show called ‘Pimp My Jet’…
Oh, and did we mention that he had the outside of the jet painted with his personal logo?
So then, after dropping millions on his super pimped-out ride, Soulja Boy decided to throw more cash around by giving himself a $300,000 birthday party at a Miami club. Celebrities such as Dwight Howard, Bow Wow, and Sean Kingston will be attending the party.
What we’re wondering is, why does he have that much cash to burn? Didn’t he have, like, one hit song? And furthermore, at his age, that’s just not practical! Even super rich celebrities who blow wads of cash all the time wouldn’t drop that much money on one thing.
Any guesses on what Soulja’s going to buy himself on his 22nd birthday? Maybe his own country?
