TAYLOR LAUTNER may have left his buff werewolf character Jacob Black behind, but Hollywood news tells us he’s going to be acquiring a different kind of “swag” in his new film ‘Abduction’, where he’s going to be playing a sexy (and still very buff) gun-wielding tough guy.
Taylor will forever be Jacob Black in our eyes, but in his new film, he will be taking on a different persona. ‘Abduction’ director John Singleton shares:
“It’s about him having a different kind of swag than he does Jacob… In this movie, he’s Nathan Harper and he’s a kickass dude in this movie.”
He adds:
“They’re gonna see a whole different Taylor Lautner from what Jacob is in the ‘Twilight’ pictures… My goal as a director was to work with him as an actor, for him to have something that’s a different character.”
Despite his new super tough guy role, John reveals that Taylor is still a complete sweetie when the cameras aren’t rolling:
“It was really funny because, you know, after we worked all these hours, he’d go out and he’d graciously shake peoples’ hands and sign autographs… He’s phenomenal. I call him a trooper; he’s a real soldier.”
