RIHANNA set the stage on fire during her ‘Loud Tour’ concert in Dallas this weekend. Literally. As in real FIRE, people.
Rihanna’s show was just too hot to handle—even her stage couldn’t handle it! The incident occurred at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, while the singer was performing her hit song “California King Bed.”
According to celebrity news, faulty pyrotechnics were the cause of the fire—the blaze broke out above the stage, which the crowd at first thought to be part of the show as they began clapping in response.
It was soon realized that the fire was NOT staged, and Rihanna had to dash off, cutting her set list short. The rest of the crowd was later evacuated due to safety concerns, and luckily, no one was injured.
After the incident, Rihanna tweeted:
“DALLAS!!! We set the stage on FYAH tonight!!! LITERALLY!!! I’m so pissed, I was havin so much fun wit yall too!!! I gotta come back man!!”
She added:
“yall CRAY!!! Love this f***n place! Glad u guys are safe!!!”
Rihanna seems to be having a run of bad luck during her live performances lately, doesn’t she? She’s already tripped twice in concert, and now her stage catches fire. Maybe someone should tell RiRi to wear kneepads and a fire suit for her next concert?
