CHRISTINA AGUILERA is threatening to sue a popular celebrity news website over indirect allegations of child abuse. Apparently, the website published a report which contained a photo of Christina with her son, MAX, who was sporting a black eye, and implied that she had been beating him up.
According to TMZ, Christina is extremely furious over a story published by MediaTakeOut.com, which bore the headline:
“CHILD ABUSE???? CHRISTINA AGUILERA‘S SON IS PHOTO’D WITH A BLACK EYE!!!”
The pop star’s attorney, Eric Greenspan, wrote a letter to the site, saying:
“Christina is a wonderful mother and was not present in the park when Max fell and hurt himself.
To imply that she had something to do with this incident, without any investigation on your part whatsoever, is reckless and unconscionable.
HAVE YOU NO SHAME!!!!”
MediaTakeOut has since removed the words “child abuse” from the headline of their post.
