In his recent interview on ‘Conan’, JAMES FRANCO talked about sex tapes, porn stars, and… his grandma. Nothing weird going on there, folks.
James appeared on ‘Conan’ yesterday, and when he was asked about his his alleged one-time foray into the porn industry, he replied:
“No, no, no. It’s not true. [But] I’m actually very interested in pornography. I’m making a documentary about pornography…”
James did admit, however, that he did a sex tape back when he was young (which was previously reported by celebrity news). He added:
“When I was young, it’s not like I went down to Van Nuys and tried to break into the porn industry, I just got a video camera and my girlfriend and I decided to film ourselves… And watched it back and said yeah, well, let’s never watch that again.”
When Conan asked him what went wrong with the sex tape, James said:
“Those people in the pornos, they are great performers. They’re not just doing—they’re selling it to an audience.”
And then, he somehow worked his grandma into the conversation (to Conan’s pretend disgust) and compared her to porn actors:
“Just like my grandma can feel feelings and cry in her life if she’s sad, it doesn’t mean that she’s gonna be a great actor because actors are performing those emotions so that they are conveyed to an audience… The same thing with actors in pornography they are performing so that an audience can get turned on… So my girlfriend and I didn’t know that so it was just kinda like this weird movement that’s not sexy at all. That’s like, really boring.”
Like we said, nothing weird going on there! Nothing at all!
