JAY-Z blatantly refused to clap or cheer for CHRIS BROWN after the latter’s performance at the 2011 MTV VMAs. Does this mean he’s still pissed about what Chris did to his protégé, RIHANNA?
After Chris’ insanely electric, dance-till-you-drop VMA performance, practically everyone stood up and started clapping and cheering—including Kanye West and Justin Bieber—but not Jay-Z! The father-to-be simply sat in his seat and refused to clap or crack a smile—he wasn’t even looking at the stage!
Could Beyonce’s hubby still be upset about the whole Chris-beating-up-Rihanna thing that shocked the celebrity news world back in 2009? It’s possible—he was the one who discovered her, after all, and they’re still pretty close.
And who can blame him, really? A guy brutally beating his girlfriend isn’t something you’re all just supposed to forget…
Do you think Jay-Z is sending some kind of message to Chris with his less than warm reception of the latter’s performance?
