Celebrity gossip websites have obtained JO CALDERONE‘s explanation as to why LADY GAGA didn’t go to the MTV VMAs, and why “he” went instead. Apparently, Gaga wanted Jo to get some of the spotlight… and, though Gaga/Jo didn’t say so, we believe it’s because she just couldn’t face another night of tottering around on 10-inch heels.
As anyone who watched the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards would know, Lady Gaga graced the event as her greasy-haired male alter ego Jo Calderone, and she stayed in character throughout the entire night.
When asked why Gaga was nowhere to be found, Jo explained:
“She’s just really f-ing pissed at me right now and she said, ‘F- you. If you really love me, you’ll go instead of me, and you’ll get in that spotlight.’ So I did.”
“He” then went on to give a bit of info about “himself”:
“I’m from Jersey. My family is from Palermo, Sicily, and I’m not a singer or a model or an actor or anything.”
When asked if “he” was a “guido,” Jo lost “his” cool and said:
“No, I’m not a f-ing guido! You don’t like Italians? What the f– is the matter with you?”
Meanwhile, Jo was also asked if “he” would ever get together with Britney Spears, whom “he” shared the VMA stage with when “he” presented her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award. Jo was every bit the gentleman (not!) and replied:
“She’s f-ing hot. I don’t know. You know, Gaga is my girl, but Britney is f-ing Britney Spears. Didn’t you jerk off to Britney when you were a kid?”
