Did JUSTIN BIEBER and SELENA GOMEZ really break up? Celebrity gossip websites have been buzzing incessantly about the rumored split between teendom’s favorite couple, and although Justin and Selena have been sweeter than sweet ever since they were first spotted together, we just can’t help but ask—could the rumors be true?
According to recent reports, the alleged rift between Selena and the Biebs was due to the “Baby” singer’s newfound friendship with R&B bad boy and girlfriend-beater Chris Brown. Maybe Selena’s worried that Chris’ violent behavior would rub off on her man? Justin does have kind of a quick temper, based on the many videos we’ve all seen of him getting royally pissed at the paparazzi, the security people at awards shows, and even his own fans!
Thankfully, we don’t have very long to see if the rumors are indeed true! Justin and Selena are due to appear at the Teen Choice Awards, and hopefully they’ll be hand-in-hand on the red carpet, packing on the PDA—as always.
