JUSTIN BIEBER Street Sign Stolen
Just two days after a street in Forney, Texas was named after JUSTIN BIEBER, the street sign bearing his name was stolen. Either there’s a rabid Belieber memorabilia collector living in the Lone Star State, or someone just hates the “Baby” singer with a passion, they’ve decided to swipe the sign to have no reminders of the Bieb each time they drive past…
Entertainment news today reported the street was named by 11-year-old Caroline Gonzalez who won a contest to be appointed “mayor of the day”. One of her very first acts was to honor her idol by unveiling a street named after him. Unfortunately, not long after she stepped down, someone unnamed it for her by swiping the sign.
Granted, naming a street after a pop artist who isn’t even dead yet appears as juvenile as the teen who placed it there, but Forney Mayor Darren Rozzel (the real adult mayor) has promised to replace it.
“We don’t know if it was a crazed fan who decided they had to have it or what.”
Mayor Rozzel was quoted as saying.
