Forbes has just announced that LADY GAGA is now the world’s most powerful female celebrity beating Oprah Winfrey on Forbes’ annual list of he World’s 100 Most Powerful Women. And while she topped the celebrity category, she was one point shy of making it to the World’s Top 10, which included Hilary Clinton, Michelle Obama and Melinda Gates.
Hollywood gossip websites are wondering if she would’ve made it to the Top 10 had it not been for the few unfortunate incidents a couple of weeks back when she was caught wearing people clothes several times in succession.
Still, a number 11 spot isn’t so bad (Oprah made number 14). After all, Gaga has 32 million Facebook fans and 10 million Twitter followers, as well as gross earnings of $90 million. Not to mention the fact she’s the only one on the list with a male alter ego, Jo Calderone. How powerful can you get?
Maybe if she’d just give up wearing normal clothes altogether, or sell her brand of Mother Monster wear at her soon-to-open boutique, maybe 2012 will see her at the number 1 spot. Bet?
