No, not as the youngest black guy to marry a fleshier older woman and sire twins, but NICK CANNON attempted to break the Guiness Book of World Records today for giving out the most hugs a single person ever has given in the space of an hour. What, he’s not getting any at home?
Poor guy, and here we thought Mariah was one of the sweetest divas…
Apparently not, Hollywood rumors supposes, because here’s Nick trying to surpass the hug record at the Citi Field Stadium in New York just before the New York Mets vs. Milwaukee Brewers baseball game.
The previous record was 1,749 hugs given by disabled motivational speaker Nick Vujicic in 2010, so Nick Cannon has to get at least 1,800 hugs to break this.
Nick announced his plans the day to New Yorkers the day before, saying:
“I would like to invite everyone to come help me break the Guinness Book of World Records and let’s “Hug it Out”.”
So if you’re in New York, do come over at 4:30pm today, give the poor deprived guy a tight one, and get a “Hug It Out” commemorative t-shirt. If you’re early enough, you’ll be one of the first 100 people to receive free tickets to tonight’s game.
