PAULY D is firing back at Abercrombie & Fitch after the clothing brand decided that they didn’t want “Jersey Shore” stars wearing their clothes anymore—and he actually made a very good point!

Pauly D took to Twitter yesterday and wrote:

“Hmmm if They Don’t Want Us To Wear Those Clothes Why Make GTL Shirts #yourPRsux”

The reality star even attached a picture of the said shirt to his tweet to back his claim!

FYI, the acronym “GTL” stands for “Gym, Tan, Laundry,” a saying among the “Jersey Shore” boys which was coined by The Situation.

As previously reported by celebrity news, Abercrombie & Fitch announced that they no longer wanted the “Jersey Shore” stars wearing their clothes—they even went as far as to offer them money. The company claimed:

“This association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans.”

Meanwhile, MTV responded:

“It’s a clever PR stunt and we’d love to work with them on other ways they can leverage Jersey Shore to reach the largest youth audience on television.”

Aside from the “GTL” shirts, A&F even made shirts that read “The Fitchuation.”

What’s up with that?

Personally, we think A&F are acting like huge hypocrites. Pauly D is right—if the company doesn’t want them wearing the clothes anymore, then why do they make all these shirts that are clearly made for “Jersey Shore” fans?
