Have you seen People magazine’s KRIS-less KIM KARDASHIAN wedding cover yet? The way we’re looking at it, it seems Kim Kardashian”s wedding took place without a groom because People’s featured her all by her lonesome, looking like she’d just recently said her vows only to herself and her multi-million dollar Kardashian Klan family empire. Because that’s what it really was, wasn’t it?
Poor Kris Humphries. He’s been shunted to the sidelines yet again, and on his own wedding, too. Celebrity news figures momager Kris Jenner may have arranged it so only her daughter in all her glittering wedding gowned glory would grace People’s cover as part of their $1.5 million exclusive coverage deal. Kim is the bigger earner after all. Kris is just a New Jersey Nets forward who isn’t as photogenic and doesn’t earn a quarter of what Kim does, so to the Kardashian Klan, he’s just an appendage.
There were thousands of pictures of the bride and groom together. Why choose one that didn’t have Kris Humphries in it?
“It’s all about the bride. We wanted her. It’s her day, we wanted her on the cover. He’s got a little height on her. It’s kind of tough to get them in the (same) shot.”
People editor Jen Garcia was quoted as saying.
Even though Khloe is way taller than Kim but doesn’t Lamar Odom have a lot of height on Khloe Kardashian, too? But they were featured on their Ok! wedding cover together. Because they’re husband and wife.
Kind of makes you wonder what role Kris will be playing now that he’s part of the hugely efficient money-making machine that is the Kardashian Klan. Background prop, maybe?
