REBECCA BLACK performed last night on ‘America’s Got Talent.’ How ironic! No offense to Rebecca, of course. She’s an adorable girl and all, but she just doesn’t have the kind of singing (or dancing) talent a pop star needs to be taken seriously in the music industry.
Rebecca sang a funky mashup of her infamous YouTube hit “Friday” and her new single “My Moment” on last night’s ‘America’s Got Talent’ episode, and it was surprisingly okay. Not brilliant, mind you. Just okay.
We have to give Rebecca some serious props though—she sang live! And she didn’t sound all nasally, like she did in the “Friday” video.
But seriously, we’re happy for Rebecca, and we’d like to congratulate her on her performance. The girl could definitely use a boost, especially after the recent celebrity news that she had to drop out of school to get away from all the bullying and teasing.
We just hope Rebecca doesn’t go on ‘American Idol’—that’s just crossing a line right there.
