In recent celebrity news, MIKE “THE SITUATION” SORRENTINO has revealed that Abercrombie & Fitch did not offer him money to stop wearing their clothes. However, he proudly admits that he would gladly take the money if the deal were true.
According to previous reports, A&F told The Situation that they would pay him money to stop wearing their merchandise because they felt that his continued connection with their brand “could cause significant damage to [their] image.”
But here’s the thing: it’s not true! The Sitch says:
“Nobody’s contacted me in any way … and that’s pretty crazy, you’re gonna pay someone NOT to wear something? Call me up man!”
Obviously, this is just some stupid PR move on the company’s part, because why would they make “GTL” (Gym, Tan, Laundry) and “The Fitchuation” shirts if they thought “Jersey Shore” was a bad show to be associated with? Seems like A&F just shot itself in the foot.
So would The Sitch still be wearing clothes from A&F? The reality star responds:
“I mean, their sweatpants are cool with me … but I don’t think people are supporting THEM any more … I heard their stock dropped pretty badly.”
Would you still wear A&F clothing?
