The KIM KARDASHIAN – RAY J sex tape deal worth $20 million is dead in the water. Did some sort of negotiational coitus interuptus cause one limp mystery buyer to call off negotiations completely?
It seems the “interested party who declined to be named” may given the wrong number in its offer to purchase Kim and Ray J‘s sex tape from Vivid Entertainment because celebrity news just heard Vivid Entertainment rejected the $20 million offer, and is reportedly gunning for more.
“We were offered $20 million for the Kim tape but have decided that we are going to hang on to it … for now.”
Vivid Entertainment CEO Steve Hirsch has said in a statement.
“Although the offer that we ultimately received was substantial, when I realized that it wasn’t Kim it became less appealing. Kim is a superstar and if it were to be sold, it should be to her.”
Oh? Wasn’t Kim‘s camp the “mystery buyer?”
And given the fact that Ray J is up in arms about suing whoever tries to cut him off of one of his lucrative sources of residual income, it seems the sex tape is staying. Poor Kim. She so wanted to become a respectable member of Hollywood society.
