ELISABETTA CANALIS has finally spoken up about her breakup with perpetual bachelor GEORGE CLOONEY, and said there’s nothing pretty about saying goodbye after two years together with a man who’s eluded marriage and commitment for nearly 20 years…
As per his usual, Clooney has moved on to former WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler, and Elisabetta‘s taken comfort in grueling rehearsals for her stint on “Dancing With The Stars” to get over her split with the “Syriana” Oscar winner.
“At the end of the day I have always seen the end of my relationships as a personal failure,”
the Italian model told Hollywood news and gossip, sounding very like her self-esteem’s taken a huge hit.
“The end of a relationship is complicated. There is nothing ever pretty [about] saying goodbye. I went to the United States, because at the moment I could no longer face the world. Watching my life being dissected was not easy for me. “
Which is why she maybe thinks having her dancing skills instead of her personal life scrutinized feels like a better option.
“Here in Los Angeles I have found serenity. I’ve also found work. It was a difficult time for me, but you have to get on with things.”
That’s the spirit. You aren’t the first, Elisabetta, and we’re betting you won’t be the last. Let’s just hope Stacy Keibler knows some really difficult-to-break lock holds that’ll keep 50-year-old George entangled longer in those long legs of hers, at least.
