HALLEY BERRY broke her foot while filming her new movie in Spain, and unless we’re mistaken, last we checked she wasn’t an action star. Ok, so she did jump from a cliff as Bond girl Giacinta “Jinx” Johnson in “Die Another Day”, but that was all “smoke and mirrors” as far as we’ve heard.
Halley‘s doing a 70′s retro film “Cloud Atlas,” and while we’re really not surprised at her de-glamorized self dressed in togs from 40 years ago (she did ugly too in “Loosing Isaiah” and got nominated for a NAACP Image Award), we’re thinking maybe she’s too old to start doing action star at the ripe old age of 45.
However, entertainment news heard Halley broke her foot outside the set. It seems she tripped and fell on the property she’s been renting while filming in the country. Where’s she been staying? At one of the mouldering Moorish castles from the 15th century?
Like we’ve said, Halle is fit and all that, but she should consider being more careful now that she’s speeding on towards the bright side of 50. Bones get brittle with age, you know. And if anything happens, Gabriel Aubry will be getting custody of Nahla, and that’s not something that bears thinking about…
