Celebrity gossip websites have learned that MADONNA has been offered $300,000 to become the “Queen of Cougars.”
Well, sort of.
Madonna, who is known to have a penchant for dating younger men, received the unusual offer from a dating website called CougarLife.com, which offers the service of setting up older women with younger men (something that the Material Girl would probably love, if she didn’t already have a young man of her own).
But they aren’t really offering to crown her the “Queen of Cougars”—they want her to help promote their site by recording a song and making a music video about “cougars.”
Seriously.
The Material Girl received a letter from the president of CougarLife.com, which said:
“To us, Madonna is without a doubt the queen of Cougars, and therefore, we at CougarLife are extremely interested in exploring a unique partnership with you.”
According to the letter, Madonna would receive an extra $200,000 if the song were to enter the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and another $500,000 if the music video reaches 100,000,000 views.
It also said:
“She [Madonna] would also agree to perform the CougarLife Song at no less than one major award show in the 2012 calendar year.”
