It seems RAY J. feels the “anonymous outfit” seeking to buy out his sex tape with KIM KARDASHIAN violates his rights (earning rights, that is) and he’s suing to protect those rights which have earned him mega-bucks in the distribution deal he and Kim cut with Vivid Entertainment all those years ago. Poor Kim. Her bid for legitimate respectability among the Hollywood elite’s going sour before negotiations have even began…
Entertainment news says Ray J., who happens to be Kim K.’s co-star in the infamous sex tape, is bent on frustrating that “anonymous outfit” (read: the Kardashian Klan) who’ve been bidding as much as $30 million for the rights to “Kim K. Superstar.”
According to the letter his lawyer sent to Vivid Entertainment:
“Any attempts to transfer the copyright outside of these parameters will result in filing a motion with the courts to seen an injunction of any sale until Ray J’s rights are protected.”
And we translate this to mean that Ray J.‘s angling for more money, having earlier said $30 million didn’t cut it. Is he doing this to spite Kim after her new husband Kris Humphries pretended not to know him on a plane when they were seated together?
From Ray J.’s point of view, he created the Kim Kardashian, and he never wants her to forget who made her famous four years ago.
