According to the latest celebrity news, RIHANNA has just taken legal action against a woman who allegedly tricked her into buying a crappy mansion… for $6.9 million.
What makes the house crappy? Well, it leaks. And although we know the beach-loving Rihanna loves getting wet and wild, she still probably wants a home that’s dry.
Rihanna recently filed a lawsuit against the woman who sold her the $6.9 million 2-story mansion in Beverly Hills, claiming that the latter told her that there were no major defects with the house that she knew of.
The Barbadian singer believes that she was lied to, and that the seller did indeed know about the numerous problems with the mansion, such as waterproofing defects, water intrusion problems, and other construction defects. In fact, TMZ has learned that Rihanna’s mansion suffered major water leaks in most of the rooms due to these defects back when the house was hit by a “moderate rainstorm” last year.
Rihanna claims that she got screwed by the former owner because “the actual value of the property at the time of purchase, taking into consideration the extensive construction defects … was millions of dollars less” than the original amount she paid.
