AUSTRIA loves ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, and proved it by building a museum in his name and unveiling a gigantic statue of the former governator at it’s opening. Celebrity news gaped at the larger-than-life bronze statue of Arnold from his body building days that fronted the Arnold Schwarzenegger museum in the two-story Thal village house where Schwarzenegger was born.
The museum also featured Arnold memorabilia from his days as a Hollywood action star, including another humongous wax statue of him as The Terminator.
“For me, this is not only a museum,”
Arnold told hundreds of Austrian fans that had gathered outside in the rain for the unveiling of his bronze statue.
“It is also a symbol of will… everyone has a chance.”
Arnold‘s son, aspiring model Patrick, joined his father on a tour of the museum, which strangely enough, showcased large framed photos of Schwarzenegger‘s ex-wife Maria Shriver and their children.
Arnold fondly waxed on about his time with the Kennedy heiress he cheated on during the duration of their marriage as something
“that I remember with great fondness.”
Well whatever levels of lameness Arnold may have descended to back in the States, he can always count on Austria and the Arnold Schwarzenegger museum to inflate his ego back to Terminator size.
