It’s a reality show…who was BETHENNY FRANKEL kidding when she faked her “lost-at-sea” boating nightmare last month that had her and hubby Jason Hoppy drifting in the middle of the ocean for 20 hours before they were rescued by another boat who had responded to their “cry for help?”
No wonder Bethenny’s the richest, most successful “Real Housewife” to date. Star news figures that to be “real”, you have to have a fake and scripted life. Take it from Kim Kardashian and the Kardashian Klan.
Bethenny even did a reenaction of their capsized boat in front of the cameras. But according to rescuers who came upon the “S.O.S.” in the wee hours of the morning, there was hardly any danger present.
“There were 9 people on the boat. Bethenny, Jason, [Bethenny's] therapist and a Bravo film crew of 6. They did not need a tow as the boat was fine. They simply followed Tim and his wife back to the shore with no towing and a functioning GPS.”
Rescuer Tim Russel recounted. The Coast Guard wasn’t even needed.
Funny thing was, Bethenny‘s therapist had been a seasoned sailor for the last 30 years, and the only way they could’ve been lost at sea in good weather was if there had been a captain error or a tsunami…and they were found on Nantucket Sound. How lost can you get?
Which just goes to show how Bethenny Frankel wasted everyone’s time (don’t all reality shows?), made a mockery of the U.S. Coast Guard and rescuer Tim Russel…
