Good news, “Glee” fans! CHORD OVERSTREET may be returning to “Glee” soon, despite the earlier announcement that he was out—for good.
Entertainment news announced in July that Chord, who played hunky new kid Sam Evans, would no longer be a part of “Glee” come the show’s third season, but recent reports tell us that he’s in talks to come back and reprise his role on the hit Fox series.
Apparently “Glee” fans weren’t too happy about Chord’s sudden expulsion from the show, so the producers immediately offered the actor a chance to stay on as a recurring character—but he refused.
Fortunately, someone must have convinced Chord to reconsider, because he is reportedly in talks with “Glee” producers to come back as a series regular. His first appearance is tentatively slated on the third season’s eighth episode.
No word yet on how they’re going to work him back into the story, since earlier this season it was announced that his character had moved away from Lima Heights after his dad got a job somewhere else.
Are you excited about Chord’s comeback?
