Coldplay front man CHRIS MARTIN is a lucky guy… and he knows it. The British musician recently told celebrity news that marrying GWYNETH PALTROW was like winning the lottery.
Aawww. What a sweet guy!
In his recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Chris revealed that his relationship with Gwyneth was the only serious one he’d ever had. When the host, Anthony Mason, commented that his going out with the “Contagion” star was “quite a leap,” the singer joked:
“It’s a big leap? What, from being a loser, to going out with an Oscar winner?”
Unlike Chris, Gwyneth has been in a few serious relationships, most notably with Brad Pitt, whom she was engaged to for a few months back in the late 90s. She then went on to date Ben Affleck for a few years before meeting her rock star hubby at a concert in 2002. Gwyneth and Chris later tied the knot after a year of dating.
Chris, apparently, feels very fortunate to have married Gwyneth, his wife of eight years. He said:
“It’s a giant leap. Let’s face it: it’s like winning the lottery.”
That’s a really sweet thing to say. It’s no wonder the guy’s such an amazing songwriter!

He should be thankful, that she loves him. The comment he made on “Ellen” about her being his beard for 10 years is damn crude, from my perspective. Gwenth Paltrow, is a lady, through and through.
