Hollywood gossip websites are in a furor about the gay rumors surrounding “Twilight” werewolf TAYLOR LAUTNER…are they true? Surely not…Taylor‘s such a hunk. But then again, so are Ricky Martin, Rupert Everett and Neil Patrick Harris. So what sets Taylor so apart from the other manly men that’s allegedly turned him into a gay icon?
Just because he happens to be gifted with boyish good looks (hey, he’s only 19…give the kid a break), has a buff bod (he’d needed that to play a werewolf, or else lose his job), and is so assiduously well-groomed (well, thank heavens…here’s a guy who isn’t a slob), the rumor mill has sparked off talk that he bats for the other team…inside the closet.
So why isn’t anyone saying the same thing of Robert Pattinson who happens to be way prettier than Taylor is? Is it just a case of Team Edward trying to sabotage Team Jacob?
Well, for one thing, gossipmongers point out, Taylor‘s been linked to all sorts of beautiful women, including namesake Taylor Swift and “Abduction” co-star Lily Collins, but all these so-called relationships were superficial and short-lived. On the other hand, what male teenager in his right mind would trap himself in a long-term relationship?
For another, Taylor drives a 2012 silver SLS AMG Mercedes-Benz, a car reportedly for gay people who prefer to proclaim they aren’t. Seriously, a gay car? They’re kidding right?
And also because he lives with his parents despite the money he’s been making. Well, maybe he has a close relationship with his family. Besides, there’s a recession out there. Taylor‘s not a fool to move out and spend money like water when he isn’t sure his career won’t bottom out in fickle Hollywood.
“The thing I love is that my home life hasn’t changed. I still help out with the garbage. I still help out with the lawn.”
Taylor‘s been quoted as saying. Now that there’s an old-fashioned guy who’s been raised right…fit enough to bring home to momma.
So is he gay?
“No, definitely not.”

You make it sound like it would be a crime if he did turn out to be gay. Who cares! And regarding your comment that Pattinson is much prettier…please, many of us find him flat out ugly.
it’s really sad, that in this day of twitter, facebook, cell phones that people can hide so easily after making claims of someones sexuality and not being held accountable. sure with money and fame comes gossip but god, how this young man has managed to keep his head up has got to be addressed, i;ve seen him on interviews and talk show, i see a very well rounded, good family values young man who had been very lucky, and no i do not see the “gay” thing and who cares really. good luck mr lautner a few of us think your cool.
