Hollywood rumors have heard that MADONNA is seeking a collaboration with NICKI MINAJ as part of her efforts to revive her flagging music career. Is the Material Girl really in far worse straits than we’ve been led to believe?
The 53-year-old iconic entertainer, known for continually reinventing herself, had her last tour, “Sticky & Sweet”, in 2009. Since then, she’s been concentrating on other endeavors: falling off horses and breaking her arm, divorcing second husband Guy Ritchie, taking up with male models barely above the legal age, starting a clothing company with daughter Lourdes for whose copyright she’s now being sued, and directing a critically panned film that drew boos from viewers in the UK.
So we guess the music she’s been so famous for has taken a long hiatus and needs to be revived. And we’ve heard her people are in contact with rising rap star Nicki Minaj‘s people for the possibility of a team up to record her comeback track.
What a role reversal this would be for Madonna, if this piece of news were true. Almost as if she were “Like A Virgin” again.
