Hollywood news recently reported that LINDSAY LOHAN failed to comply with the conditions of her probation sentence and could be facing possible jail time in a few weeks time. The troubled actress, however, says that these reports are completely false and claims that she is following the judge’s orders.
When Lindsay got wind of the claims circulating about her shirking her community service duties and failing to see a shrink every week (as per the judge’s orders), the actress responded:
“I am not to be made an example of anymore… I am working hard and fulfilling my obligations every single day, to the court as well as myself. If I travel, its [sic] for work and its been approved. As is anything I do when I leave the state. I’d appreciate it if people will just let me do what is asked of me, so that I can get my life back. Please ignore the reports which have no truth to them. Thank you.”
So does that mean she is on her way to fulfilling the terms of her probation? It’s pretty hard to believe, especially since Lindsay, who was previously ordered to complete her community service at the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles, abruptly switched to the Red Cross, fueling speculation that she got kicked out of the Downtown Women’s Center for repeated absences.
When asked about Lindsay’s fate, a spokesman for the L.A. City Attorney’s Office tells E! News:
“It is unclear at this point what is going to happen… It is 1:21 [p.m. on Friday] and we have still not been contacted by the court. We do plan on getting in touch with the probation department. And once we have all the necessary information, we will make the necessary decision at that point.”
