First Lady Michelle Obama, who more or less has taken the reigns on what their daughters are exposed to in terms of television viewing, has revealed that the President himself has put his foot down about allowing Sasha, 10, and Malia, 13, to watch the Kardashians‘ reality show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians“…
First Lady Michelle says her husband has expressed disapproval of the Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Khloe Kardashian‘s antics on TV, and feels their girls shouldn’t be “keeping up with” them.
“Barack really thinks some of the Kardashians — when they watch that stuff — he doesn’t like that as much,”
she told current news.
“But I sort of feel like if we’re talking about it, and I’m more concerned with how they take it in — what did you learn when you watched that,”
the First Lady explained.
“And if they’re learning the right lessons, like, that was crazy, then I’m like, okay.”
But given the portrayal of the Kardashian girls as big spenders, Michelle Obama doesn’t want Sasha and Malia to think they can live like “little princesses”.
And given the President‘s already facing the anti-corporate greed revolution of Occupy Wall Street, we don’t think The White House is going to be laying out the red carpet for the Kardashians anytime soon…unless they volunteer to subsidize the remaining 99% of the aggravated U.S. poor, that is…
