ROONEY MARA went from a pierced and tattooed gothic punk for her role in “Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” to covering Vogue Magazine. From scary to plain edgy, this girl may very well have chameleon blood in her veins. Who’d have thought she’d make such a good cover model?
The W Magazine cover she posed for in May had Hollywood celebrity websites shuddering at the apparent destruction wrought upon such a pretty face, and the transformation from a fresh, dewy girl to Lisbeth Salander was shocking to say the least:
Now, Mara has transitioned back from society outcast Salander into a fashion model worthy of Anna Wintour‘s notice…who wouldn’t with those her high cheekbones and porcelain skin. Of course the black Ralph Lauren gown embroidered with a dragon on the back helps.
So just in case “Girl With The Dragon Tattoo” doesn’t pan out…though we doubt it won’t garner cult status on it’s own…Rooney Mara can segue to a career in modeling. And that’s something we don’t doubt at all…
