AVRIL LAVIGNE has opened up about the recent hotel brawl she got involved in over the weekend, and she claims that she was not the aggressor but the victim, as she was “attacked by five people.”
As previously reported by celebrity news, Avril and boyfriend Brody Jenner got into an altercation outside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Sunday, which resulted in Brody getting bonked on the head with a bottle.
Though the tussle was first perceived to be a catfight between Avril and some unidentified girl, the singer revealed that it was actually a beat down between her and five people. She said:
“I don’t fight. I don’t believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f**ked.”
Avril, who fled the scene and left Brody by himself (as did the other combatants) before the cops arrived, added that she suffered plenty of injuries as well. She revealed:
“As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts.”
Avril added:
“So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer.”
Apparently, Avril was the target of the attack. When Brody tried to intervene, it earned him a whack on the head with a bottle. Hotel security eventually broke up the fight and called the police, but everyone involved (except Brody) ran off before the cops got there, leaving the reality star to explain everything to the officers.
