BRAD PITT has revealed he wants to quit acting, too. The other half of Brangelina, whose partner ANGELINA JOLIE earlier expressed her wish to leave the spotlight in front of the camera and take position behind it (which she’s actually done in her directorial debut, “The Land of Blood and Honey”), tells star news he has an exit strategy for his movie star career departure already planned…
Does that mean Brad won’t be making us weak in the knees on the big screen anymore? What a loss! He can’t be serious, can he?
Apparently, he is.
“I am really enjoying the producing side and development of stories and putting those pieces together,”
The 47-year-old actor says.
“Getting stories to the plate that might have had a tougher times otherwise.”
Brad is giving himself three years to put his exit plan into action, and that means we won’t be seeing him in an acting capacity by the time he’s 50.
And dang, we were so hoping he’d be another George Clooney, or Sean Connery, or Pierce Brosnan…those gorgeous actors of the silver screen who only seem to grow more handsome with age.
So you better grab your collection of Brad Pitt movies now and start watching them back to back…three years is too short a time to build up your Brad reserves, you know.
But then again, a Brad Pitt-produced film directed by Angelina Jolie can’t be a bad thing, can it? We’ll let you know in three years…
