“Dancing With The Stars’” first transgender contestant CHAZ BONO brought in the legal big guns over a certain tabloid’s prediction of his death from liver damage. Enquirer has told the whole world Chaz has an estimated lifespan of four years left, and Cher‘s daughter son is fuming mad about it…
Recently booted from “DWTS,” Chaz has been the subject of so much hate because of his transgender status that his mom, Oscar winner Cher actually stepped in to to verbally slam Chaz‘s detractors. And now, they’re trying to kill him off…Chaz has had enough.
Chaz has had his lawyer send a cease and desist letter to the Enquirer, accusing it of defamation and a retraction and apology for it’s headline telling the whole world Chaz has only four years to live because of liver damage.
“This is absolutely outrageous, false, fabricated, and highly defamatory,”
Chaz‘s lawyer, Dina LaPolt, said in the letter.
“The salacious and inflammatory headline and article were crafted for the malicious purpose of discriminating against our client’s gender and sexual orientation.”
The Enquirer article detailed Chaz‘s failing health due to “obesity, testosterone supplements, and high suicide rates among transgender people” which all contribute to increasing “Chaz‘s risk of an early death.”
Celebrity news is sure Chaz expected a lot of criticism for his choices thrown his way, but a death prediction?
The Enquirer had better print a retraction, pronto!
