EVA LONGORIA is adamant that she isn’t dating Los Angeles Lakers player MATT BARNES. Not another basketball player…not after Tony Parker, no thank you. Or at least, not just now…
The “Desperate Housewives” star is firm about addressing this rumor circulating Hollywood gossip websites that she’s been canoodling with Barnes during a “flirty dinner” they had together on the heels of his split from girlfriend and “Basketball Wives L.A.” star, Gloria Govan.
“Once again, press gets it wrong, matt barnes and I are not dating! We are doing a charity event together for Padres and Athletes vs Cancer. . Why is the truth never the headline?”
Longoria‘s irritated statement appeared on her WhoSay account just hours after the rumor was reported by tabloids.
“First Jessica simpson, now this,”
she declared, referring to the earlier rumor that she had a hand in convincing Jessica Simpson to postpone her wedding due to a superstition about an inauspicious date Jess had picked.
“Wow, some dumb magazine(InTouch) is reporting I told Jessica Simpson to cancel her wedding date because I’m superstitious! So not true!”
Eva tweeted.
“My denial is at end of story but they ran it anyway. Makes no sense how they can lie to the public. #annoying.”
Well, here’s a very irate celebrity who’s touchy about false rumors and irresponsible reporting. Dare the tabloids spark her ire further?
